Nicolas S. Veaco, M.D., D.D.S., M.S.


Dr. Veaco was raised in Woodland, CA and received his graduate degree from California State University, Fresno, magna cum laude, in 1978. Dr. Veaco received his Doctorate in dental surgery in 1982 from the University of California, Los Angeles where he graduated with multiple honors. Dr. Veaco completed a two-year general practice residency in hospital dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1984 where he received a Master of Science in Oral Biology.

In 1984 Dr. Veaco began a five-year dual degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program at the Vanderbilt University which he completed in 1989. During his residency, Dr. Veaco graduated with his Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt University in 1987. Dr. Veaco is a diplomate in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Board Certified) and practiced for two years in southern California before starting Brookside Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 1991.

During his over 30 years in private practice, Dr. Veaco has lectured at both the local and national level on all aspects of oral & maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Veaco enjoys practicing the full scope of Oral and Maxillocial Surgery with special interests in dental implants, maxillofacial reconstruction, and orthognathic surgery. Over the past few years, he has been involved with repairing cleft lip and palates in foreign countries.

Dr. Veaco currently retains appointments at Dameron Hospital.
